Global Tourism Conference 2023 (GTC2023) is organised by Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) in collaboration with The Terengganu State Government, Victoria University (Australia), Dongguk University (South Korea), Universiti Teknologi Brunei, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Habib Jewels and Tourism Malaysia. GTC2023 is scheduled to be held at Primula Beach Hotel, Terengganu, Malaysia on 25 until 28 September 2023 via dual-mode; on-site and virtual mode through CISCO Webex.

The aim of GTC2023 are two-fold: 1) to provide a platform for academia and practitioners around the globe to share ideas and knowledge, and 2) to promote research in Tourism and Hospitality through paper presentation. In addition to these aims, GTC2023 also encourages innovation ideas through its innovation competition. The theme of GTC2023 is “Smart Tourism and Sustainability: Are We There Yet?”. All related papers/studies and innovation projects which suit the theme are welcomed to be presented at the GTC2023.
